Searching the catalog is the best way to find the solution you are looking for. You can
search the ENTIRE catalog very easily.
To search, either click on the SEARCH button from the main menu, click on the SEAB
button from the browse layout, or hit command-3 at any time.
Once you are in the search layout, you can the appropriate data in the appropriate fields.
You can enter data in one field, two fields, as many
fields as you want (this makes the
search much more specific and limiting).
We recommend using the fields to be as specific as possible, but when you want to search
quickly and you are not sure what field you D
should be looking for, use the
Universal
Search
field at the top of the search layout screen. Using Universal Search: Universal
Search incorporates all the text (no number) fields below into a single search
field. All
you have to do is type any text in the above search field, and ALL text fields will be
universally searched. That
s it! Quick and easy.
IMPORTANT: You MUST click on the
SEARCH
button from F
within the search layout
(found at the top of the screen) in order for the search to be performed properly. This
is vital - please try to remember to do this or your search will not be accurate!

myself, you want your hard work to pay off. I have been a FMP template
developer for only a year now, but I have realizeB
d the potential in designing
FMP templates. I have been wondering for a few months now how to increase
my distribution and advertising for the lowest possible cost. Now, I have
found a way.
The FMP Database
Catalog
is the perfect method of advertising your product
and/or FileMaker service. By providing me with data regarding your product,
I will personally add it to the growing database and make it available to
the world. The advantage of this database is that there is no need to do any
marketing research or surveying because your target market is already selected
for you - only people who own FileMaker Pro can view
this database. In the
future it may be distributed on various forms of media - it all depends on
the response.
If you are interested in adding your template OR service to the database, I
will need the followF
ing information about you, the author, and the database
make customized versions, is this a product or a service, the format
(shareware,freeware, commercial, etc), the price, the payment formats you
accept, hardware anH
d software requirements, Mac or Windows or both, does it
come with a manual, requires color or works with B/W machines, where the
template can be found (AOL, infomac, umich, CD ROMs, etc), the readme file,
rief description/bio of the file (10 lines or less), the registration
form (in text format), and other templates or services you provide.

older (which is inside the
FMP DC Extras
folder). Just fill out the included template and send the template back to us via email or US mail (be sure to send it to the correct address depending on what the da
te is)
That is it at this point. If the database grows to require more information
about you, your product or service, or otherwise, I will contact you and
let you know. If you ever want to add anything regaN
rding your product just let
me know (there is no charge for modifying your entry).
PRICING

NOTICE: If you are the author of a FREE template or database, you can add your product to the FMP Database C
atalog for FREE! There is absolutely NO cost to add a
freeware
product to this catalog!
At this special introductory price of $15**, your product/service will be
added to the database for the life of the pP
roduct - it will never be removed
unless you request it.
Additional pricing options:
As it stands right now, the database will be uploaded every two weeks, pending
there are new entries, of course. If you wo
uld like your product/service
entered and uploaded within 5 days of receipt, there will be an additional
charge of $10 (this will prevent you from missing out on powerful advertising
for which you have already R
paid for). If you would like the database sent
on a disk via Priority US Mail, add an additional $6 for S/H/Disk. Note: you
will only receive the first database from when your product/service is initially

$30.00 Lifetime entry
$17.50 Annually (you will be contacted one month before the end of your one
year and asked if you would like to continue to have your product

cancel at any time and your product/service will be removed at tV
end of your year.
$10.00 Semi-Annually. If you are not sure if you want to make the commitment,
but you'd like to see if it helps your success, you can be added to

period has commenced, you will be contacted regarding continued
interest.
$5.00 Each additional product/service you offer can be added to the database
for only $5 (this is lifetime). If you remove your initial product,

The FMP Database Catalog is a FileMaker Pro template that is LONG overdue in the FileMaker Pro community. I have created a database called the "FMP Database Catalog" This database is essentially a "yellow-pagB
es" type database that lists indispensable information regarding FileMaker Pro templates. It is an excellent source of inexpensive but HIGH QUALITY, high-distribution advertising for the FileMaker Pro template
developer, as well as an essential resource for the FileMaker Pro public.
The database features an attractive layout with time saving features. Each individual record/template is indexed by (a brief list):
